Fire Extinguisher Annual Inspections:
OSHA requires that all fire extinguishers be inspected and certified once a year. We can schedule these inspections so that you never have to worry about staying compliant. If our technician finds a problem with any of your extinguishers it will be taken care of immediately.
Fire Extinguisher Installation:
The proper location of fire extinguishers is very important in case of an emergency. Our training and experience can help you determine the best location and the number of extinguishers needed for your business or property. We will also install the extinguishers and place signs as needed.
Extinguisher Re-Charge and 6-year Service:
Every six years, stored pressure extinguishers must be emptied and subjected to a full internal inspection and applicable maintenance procedures, including a thorough examination of all mechanical parts and the extinguishing agent. Our service vehicle has the capabilities of doing this onsite.
Hydrostatic Testing:
A periodic test mandated by the NFPA requiring highly specialized test equipment to ensure the integrity of the extinguisher at its listed pressure. Dry chemical, Halon, and other clean agents are to be hydrotested at 12 year intervals. Pressurized water and CO2 extinguishers are to be tested at 5 year intervals. Our mobile service trailer has the capabilities, of completing the hydo testing on ABC fire extinguishers on site.
